The Dublin Hebrew Congregation, a modern orthodox Synagogue in the vibrant
capital city of the Irish Republic, is looking for a visionary and capable full time
Rabbinic couple to lead our community.
We have daily minyanim and run religious, spiritual, social and educational events
for the Jewish community in Dublin and further afield. Our community is made up
of traditional Irish Jews as well as newer arrivals to Dublin from all over the world.
We are looking for an energetic and caring couple who will invigorate, challenge
and support our diverse community, bringing passion to our services and events.
We seek a couple that will become our halachic and spiritual leaders and will help
us maintain and nurture our faithfulness to traditional orthodoxy in a manner that
is overwhelmingly attractive and inspirational to both existing and new members
from every demographic.
The successful candidates will be able to provide a strong and effective rabbinic
presence on Shabbat and Festivals and provide a range of educational and
welfare services to all. We are seeking self-motivated candidates with excellent
qualifications and outstanding interpersonal and organisational skills. Fluent
English, written and spoken, is an absolute must for both partners and fluency in
Modern Hebrew (written and spoken) is a definite plus.
