Vacancy for SKA Operations Manager – Full Time Job brief The SKA currently provides kashrut supervision for around 30 licensees and are therefore looking to hire an Operations Manager. This full time role will involve both general office management to organize and coordinate administrative duties and office procedures and to manage operational staff. The person will also work closely with the SKA Director, the Va’ad Hakashrut, operational staff and S&P office staff. Salary – Highly competitive and commensurate with experience. Key responsibilities include: Catering: Work with the Head Shomer on the logistics required for the supervision of catered events and their associated preparations Liaise with SKA licensed caterers and SKA supervisory staff to deploy shomrim to functions Finances: Manage budget and ensure accurate and timely reporting Calculate salaries/expense for our team of approximately 20 shomrim Produce accurate and clear invoice details and calculations for our caterers and other licensees, as well as the timely collection of fees and the resolution of outstanding debts Contracts, Employee and Clients: Ensure all staff contracts and licensee agreements are up to date Ensuring all licences are reviewed on an annual basis Ensuring all clients’ data and signed copies of their respective contracts are correct and archived safely Scheduling meetings and client-site visits Making office supplies arrangements and providing general administrative support to our employees Requirements Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook (essential) Good understanding of what is involved in kashrut supervision (essential) Experience as an office administrator, including knowledge of office administrator responsibilities, systems and procedures (desirable) Experience of invoicing clients and collecting payments (desirable) Please send your C/V plus covering letter to Rachel@sephardi.org.uk no later than 27th September.
