Chief Executive – London Board for Shechita
Substantial compensation package
The LBS is looking for a Chief Execu ve to replace the incumbent who is making Aliyah.  Reporting to the four Trustees, the Chief Executive is responsible for the Board delivering shechita services e?ciently and e?etively, enabling a supply of high quality, a?ordable and halachically rigorous kosher meat and poultry to be provided by our licensees.
The wide-ranging responsibilities of the Chief Execu ve include team leadership (currently 30 people), overseeing commercial contracts, liaising with Rabbinical authori es, and robust budget management.  Communication within the industry and beyond is increasingly important.
The ideal candidate will be well-versed in Orthodox Jewish customs and practices, be capable of working independently, have experience of managing teams and delivering results under pressure, with excellent inter-personal skills, while displaying precision and a en on to detail, and maintaining the highest professional standard and integrity at all  mes.
