Mechina LeYeshiva Etz Chaim Manchester is seeking to appoint a dynamic and driven Menahel to start Elul 5779 and take the overarching responsibility for all areas of the school, including Hashkofo, Limudei Kodesh and Limudei Chol.

Etz Chaim is Bl”h a thriving and high achieving secondary school of some 200 talmidim [11-16 year olds], with a strong emphasis on growth in Cheshkas Hatorah and Middos Toivois, serving the Chareidi Kehilla of Manchester. We recently relocated to a beautiful spacious building.

The Menahel will  furtherdevelop and advance the unique ethos of the school and assume direct responsibility for the development and implementation of the Kodesh curriculum, quality of teaching and learning and management of a dedicated and professional team of Mechanchim and teachers. He will also have responsibility for and oversee the Limudei Chol.

The Menahel will work with a motivated and devoted team of Segan Menahel, Rebbeim, Headteacher and staff that have proved to be invaluable to the Moisad’s Hazlochah

The successful applicant will have:

  • The skill to focus on each and every Talmid
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Track record of teaching Limudei Kodesh
  • The ability to revise and implement the Kodesh Curriculum
  • Ability to further develop high standards in Kodesh and Chol
  • The ability to motivate, lead and support a team
  • Excellent communication skills with parents, Talmidim and the entire staff
