DEPUTY HEAD OF JEWISH STUDIES GIRLS' SCHOOL YEARS 7-11

This is a FULL TIME position (Flexible start – September or January)

A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen at Hasmonean High School. We are looking to recruit an experienced professional and enthusiastic Deputy Head of Kodesh at the Girls' School to work with our Director of Learning and team of deputies. We are a school that prides itself on the philosophy of Torah im Derech Eretz preparing our students to live a halachically observant lifestyle whilst embracing the wider world.

The successful candidate will have:

״QTS or recognised equivalent international teaching qualification

״Post High School Torah Learning at a recognised seminary or yeshiva

״strong leadership and communication skills

״experience in management and teaching in the secondary sector

״a commitment to promoting high standards and performance

״in depth subject knowledge and strong textual skills

״experience in delivering rigorous text-based lessons in Tanach and Halocho

״excellent organisational skills

״a commitment to the school's ethos and values and a halachically observant lifestyle
