The appointment will commence on 4th February 2019. The hours of employment are from Monday to Thursday from 10:00am to 3:00pm. Main Responsibilities of the role Management of day-to-day functions of the school finance department. Maintain records for orders of resources and supplies, with responsibilities for purchase ledger Ongoing management of the school budget with a view to budget control and reducing costs where possible Payment of salaries and suppliers Dispatching invoices, monitoring fee payments and carrying out credit control when necessary Liaison with Headteacher, other administrative staff and governors Undertake other duties consistent with the post Required skills and experience Understanding and working knowledge of bookkeeping/accounting principles Strong numerical skills Excellent interpersonal skills with people at all levels Ability to work independently and manage own workload Proficient in MS office Previous experience in a similar role (advantageous) An attractive remuneration package is available for the right candidate.
