Yesodey Hatorah School is seeking to recruit a self-motivated and competent Health and Safety Manager to plan, promote and strengthen health and safety procedures across the school. The successful candidate will lead on all matters relating to health and safety and ensure that all statutory health and safety standards are met. Key Responsibilities: · Ensure adherence to all appropriate health and safety standards in relation to legislation and required standards. · Ensure all documentation in relation to health and safety is kept up to date and distributed appropriately. · Review and create risk assessments and safe systems of work for all required tasks. · Undertake regular premises checks. · Take ownership of processes and responsibility for own workload. · Promote a positive health and safety culture and lead by example. This is a part-time role requiring candidate to be on-site twice a week. Training and support will be provided. Prior experience preferable, however, we would consider candidates who could demonstrate suitability for the role.
