Are you a highly motivated and professional Inclusion Leader (SENDCO)?
Do you have the drive and enthusiasm to lead and further develop the excellent SEND provision in our successful, high-achieving and popular boys’ school?

Due to our Inclusion Leader making Aliyah in July, we seek an Inclusion Leader from June (preferable) or September. The post holder will have a record of success in focusing on the needs of individual children with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities. You will help us ensure that we reach every type of learner and will have the skills and resolve to make a real difference to the lives of our children. 


The successful candidate will:
    carry out the duties as detailed in the SEN Code of Practice, ensure best practice and help us meet the requirements of children with special educational needs; 
    be a qualified teacher, with experience of working in mainstream schools;
    work according to the principle that every child matters;
    be accountable for the outcome of vulnerable learners and low achievers;
    lead a culture where the delivery of the SEND provision is a shared responsibility;
    actively seek opportunities to further improve and develop the school’s SEND provision;
    be organised and methodical, able to prioritise effectively and communicate effectively with colleagues, families and external agencies;
    be an active member of the Senior Leadership Team;
    hold the national SENDCO qualification or commit to achieving this within 3 years.
