In the aftermath of the destruction of these communities at the hands of the Nazis, Hamodia became the voice of the unbowed Torah-true community struggling to rebuild itself on different continents. Hamodia's growth paralleled the incredible resurgence of a vibrant Orthodox community in Israel and America. The daily Hebrew-language edition emerged as the leading publication for the religious community in Israel since 1950. In 1998, the English-language weekly Hamodia was launched to serve the growing Orthodox Jewish community in America, Israel and Europe and it quickly rose to prominence. A French language edition of Hamodia was launched at the end of 2007.
Today, Hamodia is the undisputed market leader: a respected publication that reaches hundreds of thousands of Jewish households worldwide through its weekly editions. |
